Top 100 Boating Dealers 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009

The Top 100 ranking recognizes the crème de la crème of marine dealers that are unsurpassed in overall business operations, customer service, marketing and professionalism. It is one of the most coveted awards in the marine industry.

We are very proud to be recognized as one of Boating Industry's top dealers in North America. Boating Industry's editorial staff reviewed almost 400 applications, culled from more than 3,000 nominations. The applications asked both quantitative and qualitative questions regarding all aspects of marine dealer operations. Dealers were rated on not only performance but also quality initiatives such as continuous process improvements, marine industry and personnel certifications, on-off water training for customers, customer service initiatives and dealer dress code.

Marine Industry Certified Dealership

Hardin Marine Arrowhead was one of the first dealers in Southern California to receive this award.

This program provides dealers with a set of criteria designed to create continuous improvement across all departments and, in turn, develop processes for meeting and exceeding customer expectations. The criteria and business best practices address the quality of dealer sales, service, parts, follow-up, facilities, as well as employee and customer satisfaction.

Dealers are reevaluated every year to ensure they continue to meet the Certification requirements.

Brunswick Dealership Certification

Mercury Dealer Congress Award

As a traditional symbol of recognition for our outstanding level of performance in sales, service, merchandising and promotional efforts of Mercury Marine products in the last year. Hardin Marine Arrowhead has recieved the Mercury dealership congress plaque for the past six years. The plaque merits a place of honor in our dealership so that our customers will also be aware of our Mercury achievements.

Mercury Marine award winners are those dealers who have demonstrated their strong commitment to the sales and service of all Mercury Marine products, and rank as one of the very best dealers in North America.

Mercury Premier Service

Mercury evaluates the service performance of its dealers and assigns its highest rating "Mercury Premier" to those demonstrating an exceptional commitment to service

Earning a Mercury Premier Service rating means a dealer:
  • Achieves a 12-month service CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) score above the national average.
  • Possesses all necessary service tools, test equipment, manuals and parts books.
  • Employs at least one Certified or Master technician.
  • Provides timely service for all Mercury Marine customers.
  • Offers extended service hours and mobile service, when appropriate.
  • Uses, displays and stocks adequate inventory of genuine Mercury Precision Parts.
  • Offers a clean, neat shop with well-organized tools and service literature.

Member of SCMA since 1998

Southern California Marine Association was formed to achieve the following objectives:
  1. To devote its efforts and resources to the promotion of boating in Southern California, for the benefit of the industry, its members and the boating public.
  2. To maintain active committees in the fields of Boat Shows, Legislation, Education, Boating Safety and Boating Promotion.
  3. To work closely with local, regional and national marine organizations in an effort to increase the industry's effectiveness.
  4. To conduct all-marine Southern California Boat Shows of a size, scope and quality matching the stature and importance of the industry represented in its membership.
  5. To dedicate any and all profits from the Boat Shows or any other money making endeavors to be used only in behalf of programs beneficial to the sport of boating and the industry connected therewith.
  6. To maintain cordial and active relationships with all forms of news and advertising media.
  7. To maintain a permanent office, open all months of the year, properly staffed to represent its membership and assist in any of its purposes.
We are dedicated to the promotion and development of the recreational boating industry!

    This award is given to dealers that have a 97% or higher positive approval feedback from customers that have bought a Cobalt Boat.

    Cobalt gives this award to a dealer that as sold more than 2 million dollars of Cobalt Boats in a given year.
